St. Mark Yard Sale
The 8th Grade Class will host a Yard Sale fund raising event on Saturday, August 16th from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the church parking lot to raise funds for their Washington, D.C. field trip. Donations are currently being accepted - please contact Anita Rogers at 281-320-2080 to arrange for drop off of your items. Don't forget to make plans to attend the Yard Sale and "shop 'til you drop!"

Volunteers Needed!
Volunteers are needed for the Spring Branch Community Health Fair on Saturday, August 16th from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. Join us again this year as we help pass out food and backpacks to families for the new school year. This is a great opportunity to fellowship with other volunteers, serve the Lord and witness to those in need. The Fair takes place at the Spring Branch Family Development Center at 8575 Pitner, 77080. Contact Wendy McManners for more information at 713-468-2623 x327 or wmcmanners@stmarkhouston.org.

Stephen Ministry Event
Do you possess the gifts of love, caring, and listening? Have you been so low during your life that you earnestly understand the need for a compassionate, listening ear? Or are you looking for a ministry where God can work through you to help others? Then Stephen Ministry needs and wants you! There will be an Informational Meeting on Tuesday, August 26th at 6:30 p.m. in Conference Room 161. We welcome you to share an evening with the Stephen Ministers and learn more about this Christ-centered ministry.
