Do you offer care for small children?
We do! Each Sunday, we have a nursery for children up to age 2.
What if my child can't sit still?
God put the wiggle in children, so don’t feel you have to suppress it in God’s house. All are welcome! If you have to leave the service with your child, feel free to do so, but please come back. The presence of children is a gift to the Church and they remind us that our church is growing! To help your children (and you!) relax a little during Worship, we’ve created a wall in the foyer especially for our littlest attendees! Visit the SML Safari Exploration Station and pick up an Adventure Gear bag. It’s filled with coloring sheets, crayons, and other little goodies. Feel free to grab a couple books to read as well! We hope this will be a valuable resource to help keep our families together for Worship.
Where do I go if I have questions?
The large drive-through awning marks the entrance to the service. Once inside, there will be greeters who can answer any questions you may have, or help you with any special needs, including hearing assistance, handicapped access, or childcare.
After the service, stop by the visitor's table just outside the main worship area. We have a special gift for you as a first time guest, and there will be people available to answer any questions you may have about St. Mark Lutheran Church and School.
What should I wear?
We encourage people to come wearing what they are comfortable in! You will find a variety at St. Mark; some will be wearing a suit and tie, while others wear jeans and t-shirts. Regardless of what you're wearing, we're happy that you're worshiping with us, and we promise you'll fit right in!
Do I need to give a donation?
During our worship services, we offer an opportunity to praise God and give back financially, but as a guest, do not feel pressured to give. This is a regular practice that is common among our attenders and members to thank God for the blessings in their lives and at St. Mark.
